Who we are
YardForge Pty Ltd ("we", "us") supplies and installs driveway gates and fencing in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry on this website we collect:
- Your name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Suburb (and any address details you give us)
- Details of the work — size, material, colour, style, site conditions, timing
- Photos of your property that you choose to upload
About the photos. Photos you upload show your property. We use them only to prepare your quote and, if you go ahead, to plan and build the job. They are kept in private storage that is not publicly browsable, and we never publish them — on this website, on social media, or in any advertising — without your written permission. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
We also collect basic technical information automatically, such as your IP address and browser type, which is used to prevent spam and abuse of the enquiry form.
Why we collect it
We use your details for one purpose: to answer your enquiry, provide a quote, and carry out the work if you go ahead. We do not sell your information to anyone.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry may pass through the following service providers, which we use to run the website and business:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, spam protection, and private storage of the photos you upload
- Resend — sending the emails that notify us and confirm receipt to you
- Our CRM provider — storing your enquiry so we can follow it up
Some of these providers store data outside Australia. We only use providers that handle personal information under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to service your job and meet our warranty and tax obligations — generally seven years. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Marketing
We will only send you marketing messages if you've opted in, and every message includes a way to opt out. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference and loss, including access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your personal information, contact us first so we can fix it. If you're not satisfied, you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Cookies and analytics
We use analytics and advertising cookies to understand how visitors find us (for example, Google Analytics and Google Ads). You can block cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
When you arrive from one of our ads, we keep the campaign details that came with the click — for example a Google Ads click ID or UTM tags — and store them alongside your enquiry. This tells us which advertising is actually bringing work in, so we spend less on the channels that aren't. We do not use it to profile you, and we do not sell it.
