1. Quotes
Quotes are provided in writing after a free on-site measure and are valid for 30 days. A quote is based on the site conditions visible and measurable at the time of the measure. Where hidden conditions are discovered during installation (for example, unstable footings or underground services), we will stop and discuss before doing any extra work.
2. Deposit and payment
A deposit is payable to book fabrication. The balance is due on completion of installation. We do not request full payment before work begins.
3. Variations
Any change to the scope, materials or finish after the quote is accepted will be priced in writing before we proceed. We don't do variation work on a verbal nod and bill you later.
4. Timeframes
Timeframes given are estimates in good faith and depend on workshop load, material availability and weather. We'll tell you promptly if something slips rather than leaving you guessing.
5. Access and site readiness
You agree to give us reasonable access to the property, and to tell us about underground services, irrigation or any other hazards. We take care on site but aren't liable for unmarked services.
6. Permits
We'll tell you if we believe a council permit is required, but the responsibility for lodging and obtaining permits sits with the property owner unless we agree otherwise in writing.
7. Warranty
We provide a 10-year workmanship warranty on fabrication and installation. Powder-coat finishes and gate motors are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which we'll pass through to you. The warranty doesn't cover damage caused by vehicles, misuse, or lack of basic maintenance.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel before fabrication begins and we'll refund the deposit less any design or materials cost already incurred. Once fabrication has started, the deposit is non-refundable because the work is made to your measurements.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to that, our liability is limited to the value of the work performed.
